Overview

Shmagz is dedicated to designing and laying out a custom, professionally crafted magazine that brings families together through shared memories, laughter, and storytelling. The final deliverable includes a high-resolution, print-ready PDF file. For clients selecting the Premium or Pro Magz packages, 10 printed samples will be delivered within Israel and the Tri-State area.

Timeline

The estimated timeline for completing the full project is 4 weeks, contingent upon the following:

  • The client provides all required content

  • The client submits the initial deposit

Project Phases:

  • Phase 1: Initial consultation and content submission

  • Phase 2: Design and layout

  • Phase 3: Revisions based on client feedback

  • Phase 4: Finalization and delivery of the completed product

Terms

  • Payment Structure A non-refundable payment is required as follows:

    • 50% deposit to initiate the project

    • 50% balance upon completion and prior to final delivery

  • Revisions

    • Mini Magz includes 1 round of revisions

    • Pro and Premium Magz include 2 rounds of revisions

    • Additional revisions are billed at $10 per 15-minute slot

    • Revisions include changes to text, images, and colors within the existing design

    • Major layout changes, redesigns, and extended phone consultations are considered additional revisions and will be charged accordingly

    • All revisions must be submitted within 4 days of receiving the draft

    • Clients are responsible for checking emails regularly to ensure timely feedback

  • Communication The client must appoint one designated contact person to liaise with Shmagz throughout the project. This individual will represent the family and consolidate feedback.

  • Cancellation Policy

    • If Shmagz cancels the project after initiation, the client will only be charged for the work they intend to use

    • If the client cancels the project after initiation, they are responsible for payment based on time worked, regardless of whether the produced work is used

  • Ad Design Ad designs include 1 initial proposal and 2 rounds of revisions. Additional revisions will be billed accordingly.

  • Comic Strip Illustrations Comic strips include up to 6 full-color boxes, 3 characters, and 2 rounds of revisions.

    • Revisions must be submitted within 36 hours of receiving the sketches

    • Additional characters, panels, or revisions will incur extra charges

Confidentiality

All confidential information shared by the client with Shmagz will be treated with strict confidentiality and will not be disclosed to third parties.
